How should I arrange scalp care more than two months after a hair transplant?
More than two months after surgery may still be part of the shedding and resting phase. Keep care gentle and non-irritating, and follow the surgeon’s advice. Avoid exfoliation, high-concentration acids, microneedling, and other irritating services. Tell the provider when the surgery took place so care can match your recovery stage.
Claims that scalp care can speed the growth of transplanted hair lack evidence. If redness, swelling, pustules, or persistent pain occurs during recovery, return to the surgical clinic first.
