1. Scalp hair transplantation: Transplantation to the hairline, temples, widow's peak, parting, crown, sideburns and other scalp areas.
2. Eyebrow transplantation: Full or partial eyebrow options, with a non-shaven approach available.
3. Beard transplantation: Shaven and non-shaven approaches are available.
4. Body-hair transplantation: Transplantation to the abdomen, underarms, chest, pubic area, legs and other body areas. Donor suitability must be assessed in person.
5. Scar-area transplantation: Transplantation into hairless scars caused by trauma, surgery or other causes. Scar blood supply and suitability must be assessed in person.
6. Repair procedures: Revision surgery for unsatisfactory previous transplants, subject to an in-person assessment. Not everyone is suitable for another operation.

How we charge

Hair-transplant fees are based on the extent of the transplant area, not the number of hairs or follicles. Pricing is all-inclusive, with no additional charges during surgery. The specific plan and fee are set out in a written quotation after in-person measurement.

Hair-health diagnosis and treatment

Doctors provide in-person assessment of the causes of hair loss, diagnosis, medication planning and follow-up management.

Individualized pain management

We do not promise a completely sensation-free operation, but we use multiple methods to minimize pain.
FerriaMed uses a combination of topical anesthesia, ultrasound-guided scalp nerve blocks and local infiltration anesthesia:
Step 1: topical anesthesia;
Step 2: ultrasound-guided localization of scalp nerves for precisely visualized nerve blocks;
Step 3: local infiltration anesthesia.
Please note: sensations during surgery vary between individuals.

Recovery timeline

• Days 0–3 after surgery: Minor bleeding or oozing from the treated area; local swelling and bruising may occur.
• Days 5–7 after surgery: Wounds have largely healed, and you can clean your scalp yourself.
• 2 weeks–3 months after surgery: Transplanted hairs enter a shedding phase, usually peaking around days 30–60. The shafts shed while the follicles remain beneath the skin. Patients may feel anxious or doubtful during this period.
• 3–4 months after surgery: New hairs begin to emerge, initially fine, soft and lightly pigmented.
• 6 months after surgery: Coverage becomes increasingly visible, with an initial improvement in appearance.
• 9–12 months after surgery: Results become more noticeable.
• 12–18 months after surgery: Transplanted follicles have almost fully recovered. The crown usually matures later than the frontal area, and surgical results can be assessed.

Recovery varies substantially between individuals. These milestones describe general patterns; your follow-up assessment takes precedence.
