How can I verify a provider's claim to have a medical background?
The most authoritative source is the National Health Commission’s physician registration lookup: search by name to check a physician’s qualifications and registered practice. You can also inspect the credentials displayed on a provider’s official website or at the location, including certificates and practice institution details. Verbal claims and promotional articles are not proof.
The boundary is important: a scalp care provider is not a medical institution. A “medical background” does not turn routine scalp care into healthcare; diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatment belong in a medical institution.
