No. Dressing changes and postoperative care are essential parts of treatment and must follow medical instructions.
All surgical clients. The doctor provides a written plan for dressing changes, follow-up, cleansing and medication based on your recovery.
The Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions require care to follow clinical standards. Postoperative management is part of the clinical treatment process.
Missing dressing changes or stopping care yourself may increase infection, folliculitis and poor-healing risks, and may affect eligibility under the written Follow-up Handling Agreement. That agreement depends on following medication instructions and attending reviews; non-compliance is excluded. The written quotation specifies included dressing changes and follow-ups; additional visits are charged at the standard rate.
