Education and professional background
Completed undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, a Project 985 institution, under plastic-surgery specialists Professors Qi Zuoliang, Liu Wei, Cao Yilin and Wang Wei. After his doctorate, worked at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Tissue Engineering.
